Privacy Policy

1.Information we collect

Only what the service actually needs:

• Account information — your name, email address, phone number if you give one, what you do, and your website.
• Channel information — the handles for the YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts you want us to publish to, and the authorization tokens that let our scheduling tool post on your behalf.
• Your recordings — the video and audio files you upload, and the transcripts and clips we produce from them.
• Your content preferences — including anything you tell us never to publish. We keep this against your account and use it to exclude material.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a card is on file and your billing status. We never see or store your card number.
• Usage data — aggregate analytics about how the website is used, and, where you arrived from one of our ads, advertising measurement data described in section 6.

2.How we use it

To produce and publish your content, to bill you, to contact you about your account, and to improve the service. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your data, and we never will.

We do not use your recordings, transcripts or finished content to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not license them to anyone who does.

3.Automated processing

Your recordings are transcribed and analysed by automated systems to identify the moments worth clipping, and cover artwork is machine-generated. This means your audio and transcript are processed by third-party AI providers under agreements that prohibit them from using your content to train their models.

The video itself is always your own words, uncut. What is generated is the packaging around it — titles, captions, hashtags and cover art.

4.Your accounts and your content

You own your recordings and everything we make from them. You own your social accounts. Connecting them to us does not transfer any rights, and we claim no license to your content beyond what is needed to produce and publish it for you.

Our access to your accounts is limited to publishing. We do not read your direct messages, we do not access your follower data beyond what the platforms show publicly, and we do not post anything outside the scope of your plan. You can revoke our access from within each platform at any time, without contacting us first.

5.Service providers

We use a small number of established providers, each handling one part of the service:

• Stripe — payments and card storage
• Web3Forms — delivers your signup form submission to us by email
• Dropbox — stores your recordings and finished files
• Publer — schedules and publishes to your connected accounts
• Netlify — hosts this website
• Cloudflare — cookie-free website analytics
• TikTok — advertising measurement, where you reached us from one of our ads
• AI transcription and image generation providers — process your audio and produce cover art

Each is governed by its own privacy policy. We never transfer your data to third parties for advertising, resale, credit determination, or any purpose unrelated to providing the service.

6.Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the website is used. It sets no cookies and does not fingerprint or identify individual visitors.

We also run the TikTok pixel so we can tell whether our advertising works — specifically, whether someone who saw an ad went on to sign up. It sets cookies and shares limited event data with TikTok, which may use it to measure and target advertising under its own privacy policy.

Short links. We count clicks on the short links we create for our clients (go.youtalkwepost.com). For each click we record the time, the link, the country and whether it came from a person or an automated preview. We keep no personal data about the person who clicked: no IP address, no cookies, and no device details beyond a one-way code that changes every day and only lets us count the same visitor once per day. The link passes on only where the click came from (for example, Instagram) to the page it opens.

We do not sell your data, and we do not run cookies for any purpose beyond the two above. You can block them through your browser settings or your device's ad-tracking controls without affecting the service.

7.Data retention

We keep your source recordings and finished files for as long as your subscription is active, and for 90 days after it ends so you have time to download anything you want. After that they are deleted. Account and billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

You can ask us to delete your files sooner at any time.

8.Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, restricted access, and reputable providers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password on every account you connect to us, and enable two-factor authentication on your social accounts.

9.Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us. We process deletion requests within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local regulator. We honour those rights for everyone regardless of where they live.

10.Children's privacy

This service is for businesses and professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have, we delete it promptly.

If someone appears in your recordings who has not agreed to be published — including children — it is your responsibility to have their permission before you send us the file.

11.Data transfer

Your information may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. By using the service, you consent to this transfer.

12.Changes

We may update this policy. We will email you about significant changes. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
